Due to popular demand (from my brother), I will inform you that MRJC means the Mediation and Restorative Justice Centre of Edmonton of which I am a member and volunteer mediator. Our role is to reduce conflict in the community and keep people from
A) Clogging up small claims court.
B) Annoying the Bylaw officers.
C) Slashing each other's tires, and
D) Poisoning each other's pets.

Poisoning each other's pets is the worst idea ever.
Yeah. Do people really do that when they don't know what MJRC is? Because wow, I thought I was just ignorant, not all evil and crap.
If you punch MRJC into google, the first thing that comes up is the self-explanitory correct answer. Try it, you'll like finding things out!
Seriously though, I think I'd like to hear more about this pet-poisoning story.
Barring FOIP restrictions, etc.
Nobody's pet has been poisoned, it's just an example of how things can escalate. Although I have heard reports of cat-poisoners in the past, and certainly people who get cat traps and deliver other people's cats to the pound, since cats are technically not supposed to be outdoors. There is some suspicion that the guy who lives next door to Jenn's parents kicked Tolu the cat and made her limp for six weeks, he's certainly threatened to hurt the cats before.
